Everything happening around your home, in one place
Records about homes and neighborhoods are public but scattered across county offices, state sites and federal feeds. We gather them and tell you only what changed.
Neighbor lookup
See who lives nearby from public and commercially available records: household names, approximate length of residence and property facts. For awareness only, never for screening decisions.
Home & FamilySex-offender proximity alerts

Home & FamilyNew-neighbor, move-in & street sale alerts

Free (sales) ยท PaidHome title & deed fraud monitoring

Coming soonWhy we're different
Most background-check and people-search sites sell you a one-time report. Neighborhood Scanner keeps watching your home and your street, every day.
Ongoing home protection, not one-time reports
Title and deed fraud monitoring, move-in and sex-offender proximity alerts, and storm and recall alerts keep working after you sign up.
Protect your whole family
Cover up to 3 homes on Family Watch, like yours and your parents', with separate alerts for each.
Honest pricing
One clear price, shown up front. No $1 trials that turn into surprise charges.
Built for homeowners
Property tax appeal check, home value tracker, permit and construction alerts, and contractor checks.
Privacy-first, easy opt-out
We don't sell your personal information, and anyone can ask us to suppress their own record online.

Questions, answered
What is Neighborhood Scanner?
A neighborhood awareness and home protection service. We combine public and commercially available records into a private dashboard for your street, with alerts for home sales, move-ins, deed filings on your own home, sex-offender registry proximity, permits, storms, floods, wildfires and product recalls.
Where does the information come from?
County assessor and recorder offices, licensed public-record data providers, state sex offender registries (through licensed providers), local permit offices, state contractor licensing boards, the National Weather Service, FEMA, the EPA and the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Each item shows its source and date.
Is the information always accurate?
No dataset is perfect. Public records can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and we can't guarantee accuracy. Always confirm important information with the official source we link to.
Can I use Neighborhood Scanner to screen a tenant, employee or nanny?
No. Neighborhood Scanner is not a consumer reporting agency and our data is not a consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. You may not use it to decide on housing, employment, credit, insurance or any other eligibility. See our FCRA notice.
Is title monitoring the same as title insurance?
No. Monitoring alerts you when a new document is recorded on your property so you can act quickly. It doesn't prevent fraud, cover losses or restore title.
Are the home value and tax appeal numbers official?
No. Home values are estimates based on public sales data, and the tax appeal check is an informational comparison, not tax or legal advice. Your county assessor's records are the official source.
